On the outskirts of the village is Bagshawe Cavern with 130 steep steps provoking memories of its mining past. It has had an interesting history from mines, to hat making and lead and cotton mills. Bradwell has a variety of shops and places to eat and is close to many other attractions in the area including Castleton with its Blue John Caverns and Hathersage with its connections to Robin Hood and Little John are places not to be missed. If the bright city lights are craved then Sheffield is within easy reach with a whole host of amenities. A great base for a fun packed holiday.
