Close by is the English Heritage owned Neolithic flint mines at Grimes Graves, and the 125 acre reconstructed Anglo-Saxon village at West Stow. Museums can be found at Brandon, Thetford, Mildenhall and Swaffham and country houses include the National Trust owned Oxburgh Hall and Euston Hall. The area also has two local small breweries and St George’s Distillery - England’s only whiskey distillery. Feltwell is an ideal base for exploring all that this region has to offer.
