Divers flock to the area because of the numerous shipwrecks that lie just below the surface of the water. There are a number of bars and restaurants located on the cliffs above the beach. Here you can join the coastal footpath, which takes you to Bigbury-on-Sea in one direction and to Salcombe in the other.
