Llanfairfechan, located on the beautiful North Wales coast, is often described as the place "where the mountains touch the sea." The town is conveniently located near the North Wales Coast Path and cycle way, and it is well-known for its extensive sand beach, bird sanctuary, and walks appropriate for people of all ages and abilities. One such walk, the Terrace Walk, offers breathtaking panoramas of the Conwy Estuary, Puffin Island, and Anglesey. Conwy, a town not far away, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its beautiful castle, which dates back to the 13th century.
