A little more information on Pentraeth

On Anglesey's northeastern shore, a little, charming village called Pentraeth can be found by the banks of the River Nodwydd. It is situated between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which offers more than 4.5 miles of sandy coastline, and features a town chapel that goes back to medieval times. The Welsh name for Red Wharf Bay is Traeth Coch (Red Beach), and it is well known for its spectacular sunsets. The bay is ideal for excellent family fun, fishing, and miles of breathtakingly beautiful scenic walks as it is quite shallow and offers safe swimming. Numerous wading and waterfowl species, such as shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers, and dunlin, are drawn to the enormous bay. The charming historic city of Beaumaris, which is only 6 miles away, has a moated castle dating back to the 13th century, wonderful shops, bars, restaurants, bistros, and museums, in addition to a golf course and thrilling pleasure boat and sea fishing expeditions. This fantastic site on the gorgeous Isle of Anglesey's east coast is only six minutes from the Britannia Bridge, which connects to the mainland.
