Outside the estate are other exciting attractions such as a mile and a half stretch of river - perfect for walks along the bank and with areas safe enough for children to play or paddle. Also in the region are a selection of castles, beaches and golf courses, not to mention local restaurants and inns which provide an extensive range of succulent dishes.
