  • "The Cottage was lovely and clean to a high standard."

Bright and very spacious. You had everything there that you needed, and nothing was complicated to use. e.g. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave all dials no fancy digital displays etc to confuse you. And most of all it was quiet and peaceful so you could really relax. We did come in november, so maybe that's why it was more quiet. I know you are on a working farm so maybe in summer months you may hear a bit more farm activity? We really enjoyed our holiday break and Wendy was very friendly and helpful and on hand if we did need to ask about anything. I can highly recommend Pines Farm Cottages if your after a relaxing break and not to far from all attractions and places of interest. York City is only 20 minutes on average travel time from cottage. And I recommend Askham Bar park and ride, 1200 parking spaces and open till 8:30pm to give you plenty of time to spend in city. We would definitely like to come back next year if we can as cottage is competively priced looking into 2025.
