  • "Charming cottage (and so is the owner)."

Well equipped. Very confortable. Beautiful garden (the view from the dining room to the garden is a constant happiness). Eastleach is probably the best kept secret in the Cotswolds. Sure as beautiful than Bibury but very less crowded. I will miss my early morning walks in the churchyards or along the river.

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and the area. We are lucky to have so many wonderful places to visit in the Cotswolds. We would love to welcome you again for another stay with us soon. Kind regards Manor Cottages. Property Owner

The church of St. Michael and St. Martin rests adjacent to the property, adding to its picturesque appeal.

It boasts a traditional, English country feel throughout with delicate wallpaper prints and uplifting colour schemes.

Cosy around the fire and really make yourselves at home, surrounded by the warmth of your loved ones.

There are two ground-floor bedrooms comprising a small double and a twin, sharing a bathroom with a large bathtub and hand-held shower.

There is also a well-appointed kitchen and the dining area sits perfectly within the conservatory, flooded by natural light drawn in from the floor-length, arched windows.

Enjoy alfresco dining out on the patio amongst friends and when you're done, follow the secret walkway and explore the split-level garden some more.

The manicured lawn is perfect for games bordered by lively shrubs in various shades of green.

Glorious sunshine breaks through the grape vines as you take pleasure in a peaceful stroll, listening to the sounds of cheery birds singing in the trees.

EASTLEACH, COTSWOLDS

Fairford 5 miles; Cirencester 13 miles

The two villages of Eastleach Turville and Eastleach Martin are divided by the River Leach, which narrowly winds its way from the limestone uplands of the Cotswolds and feeds into the River Thames. Together they combine over 60 listed buildings and farms, along with two parish churches to form Eastleach. This quiet village is nestled within the county of Gloucestershire, boasting a superb position for touring the delights of the Cotswolds. There is nothing but historic beauty and glorious wildlife to marvel, as well as the Victoria Inn pub, serving a traditional and cosy atmosphere, together with scrumptious food and drink. The Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens is within easy drive of the village, where you can meet a plethora of birds, primates and mammals, as well as reptiles and amphibians, set in over 160 acres of wondrous parkland. Spend a lovely day out with the family, watch the penguins being fed, learn all about the Madagascan lemurs and even explore the children's farmyard and adventure playground. Farther afield is the market town of Cirencester, boasting some fine examples of both dramatic and quaint architecture. There are also numerous shops and eateries to choose from, connected by a network of pretty streets. The city of Gloucester and nearby Cheltenham offer many more attractions, well worth a visit.
