15 Customer Reviews

  • "The property is lovely, well equipped and in a great location, nice views but could do with redecoration throughout and one settee is getting very tired, so much so it is uncomfortable to use."

Instructions for use of the cooker are missing and what to put in bins and where to locate on collection day are vague. We did use the washer and feel it needs attention as clothes were taking hours despite using short cycle and they came out very wet and we could not find any clothes pegs. At this time of year the cleaners need to take particular care in removing cobwebs as there were many on arrival. Parking was OK but part of bay 1A occupied by a boat on arrival and later a small car.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. Your comments have been passed on to the team here at John Bray Cornish Holidays. We hope you still managed to enjoy your visit despite these issues and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. The property

Bella Vista is a delightful property, consisting of two apartments, set in a quiet residential area of New Polzeath, Cornwall.

Providing access to the ground floor and garden, Bella Vista is perfectly situated within walking distance of the sandy beach, whilst benefiting from stunning views out of both the sitting room and kitchen windows.

With three well-appointed bedrooms on offer, possible to accommodate six guests, the apartment makes a wonderful base for couples, friends, and families, looking for a sea-side bolthole.

On sunny days, wake up to breakfast on the balcony, where you can peacefully plan the day's adventures, overlooking the lawned garden and borders of colourful hydrangeas and other mature shrubs.

A well-equipped kitchen is on offer, where you can rustle up lunch and dinner, gathering around the dining table for some quality time.

Bella Vista has a bright and airy double bedroom with a basin, a twin bedroom, and a bunk room, with an additional hideaway bed that can be made up on request, offering full flexibility, whilst there is both a bathroom and cloakroom for convenience.

New Polzeath is a charming and unspoilt area, and only a stroll along the coastal path to all the usual village amenities and beach; there are plenty of water-based activities to enjoy from surfing to coasteering, and you can find equipment hire and tuition, not to mention surf fashion and hardware from the many beach shops.

The nearby golf club at The Point is a drive away and offers an indoor swimming pool, gym, and tennis courts too, or travel further to the St Enodoc golf course, which has two courses and is ideal for golfing all year round!

Escape to the Cornish coast at Bella Vista.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

Where you’ll be staying

POLZEATH

Wadebridge 7.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles.

The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
