Nestling in the valley of the quaintly named River Og beneath the picturesque Wiltshire Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, only 3 miles from the attractive market town of Marlborough is the pretty little village of Ogbourne St George. The village boasts a fine pub serving good food and ales as well as a renowned golf club which welcomes visitors. About a mile above the village can be found the world famous Ridgeway, thought to be Britain's oldest road, 85 miles of track which mostly follows the chalk downland of Southern England which has been in constant use for 4000 years.

As the garden is not fenced off, dogs must be kept on a lead. There are only one or two days of sustainable shooting per year. Note: There is a small charge to use the washing machine of £2 per load or £4 per load for washing and drying, on an honesty box basis.
