The water activity centre caters for groups and individuals wanting instruction in windsurfing, dinghy sailing and other water-based sports as well as mountain biking and climbing. The Country Park has walking routes, from easy strolls sturdier treks in the surrounding hills. Littleborough is near to the Yorkshire Dales and the northern Peak District as well as being within reach of Manchester and Leeds. With its beautiful preserved stone buildings, Littleborough and nearby Hollingworth Lake and Country Park are well worth a visit.
