Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton, and Edale are just a few of the beautiful towns and villages that can be found in the area, as well as the jagged peaks of the Peak District to the north. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, two of the area's most awe-inspiring landmarks, are just a short drive apart. Excellent starting point for exploring the Peak District.
