Chwilog is a tiny village in North Wales, on the Llyn Peninsula, not far from Snowdonia National Park, in an area known for its beautiful landscapes and plethora of hiking opportunities. One mile from the coast, the Afon Wen river flows through the village on its way to the sea. Criccieth, located just a short drive away, is a charming seaside town that boasts a castle built in the 13th century that is perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia Mountains. The town's two beaches are perfect for watersports, and the nearby Snowdonia National Park is a paradise for hikers and cyclists.
