Only 4 miles away is delightful Conwy, a World Heritage Site dominated by its splendid castle and completely enclosed in its well-preserved town walls. There's plenty to enjoy in Conwy - the picturesque fishing harbour, Plas Mawr, one of the best preserved medieval town houses in the country, the National Trust's Aberconwy House, Britain's "smallest house" (worth an interesting, if quick, visit!) as well as the town's shops, pubs and restaurants nestling along the narrow and winding streets.
