The South West Coast Path, which runs through Gorran Haven, provides easy access to much of the coastline in this region that is held by the National Trust. Numerous more remote beaches are accessible on foot, as well as the 370-foot-high Dodman Point, which rises above Gorran and is believed to be one of Cornwall's most stunning headlands and the site of numerous shipwrecks. Views across Veryan Bay to the west and Vault Beach to the east can be seen from its gorse-covered heights.
