Within this small scattering of immaculately renovated cottages are many interesting activities for the guests, such as outdoor chess, access to an all-weather tennis court, pet animals, which welcome a friendly feeding and cuddle, as well as a bird house, cheerfully known as 'The Quackery'. Outside the estate are other exciting attractions such as a mile and a half stretch of river - perfect for walks along the bank and with areas safe enough for children to play or paddle. Also in the region are a selection of castles, beaches and golf courses, not to mention local restaurants and inns which provide an extensive range of succulent dishes.
