The Barn, Timberscombe (Somerset) has been converted into a delightful one-bedroom holiday cottage for up to 2 guests, and one pet welcome. Historically it was a dairy barn, and many characterful features including wonderful vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, have been retained.
Timberscombe is a charming village in the heart of Exmoor, the village pub is just a short walk, called The Lion Inn, serving drinks (not currently serving food sadly) and is pet-friendly. The local church, post office and infant school all contribute to the village community.Dunster (3 miles away) is a beautiful medieval village set within the Exmoor National Park and boasts its own Castle and a Medieval Yarn Market. There's also a number of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms in Dunster.The Somerset coastline is 4 miles away at Dunster, but there's also lovely Porlock Bay and Blue Anchor which are dog-friendly too.
