There is excellent walking nearby, with rocky peaks to the north and pleasant hills and dales to the south, and a variety of charming towns and villages, such as Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton, and Edale, are strewn throughout. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, both of which are within easy driving distance, are must-sees for anybody visiting this area. A fantastic starting point for visiting the Peak District.
