The Old Sweet Shop is a quintessentially English “chocolate box” cottage located in the quietest and prettiest part of the coastal town of Minehead, Somerset. A spacious 4-bedroom thatched cottage dating back to the seventeenth century, the property has served many purposes over the years, the most notable of which lent this delightful cottage its name. An extensive and sympathetic restoration has maximised interior space and light and provided a beautiful sweeping staircase, impressive beams, and large fireplace, plus a truly luxurious hot tub to unwind in after a good day’s Exmoor exploration. This is holiday accomodation in which the old complements the new, making for a top-notch destination for larger families or groups of up to 8 friends.
