The Ramblings Bridgetown is located in the small village of Bridgetown, close to the beautiful Brendon Hills, on the eastern side of Exmoor National Park. The property is a cosy two-bedroomed cottage sitting in an elevated position with delightful views out across the valley to the River Exe, and is a perfect rural getaway for couples or small families. Just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Bridgetown village pub (and its famously picturesque cricket ground), The Ramblings makes an ideal and very comfortable base for those keen to explore Exmoor by foot, bicycle, or horseback.

Bridgetown is a small village on the eastern side of the Exmoor National Park and is close to the beautiful Brendon Hills. There is a village pub which serves food, The Badgers Holt, and a camping/caravan site with on-site shop which is oen to non-campers (not a supermarket, but does contains a surprising variety of food and supplies). Bridgetown is a great base for exploring the Exmoor, there's a multitude of walks and rides that will take you all over the National Park exploring the wooded valleys and open moorlands.Just 5 miles away, Dulverton is known as the southern gateway to Exmoor and is also home to the head quarters of the Exmoor National Park. There are several streets of shops in Dulverton including a butcher, bank, Post Office, fish & chip shop, greengrocer, late-opening supermarket, art gallery, hairdressers, guns and fishing tackle shop. There are also a number of quality boutiques, interesting gift shops plus a handful of lovely restaurants, tea rooms and pub.In other direction, Winsford is 3 miles and Wheddon Cross (with village pub, petrol station and mini-supermarket) is approx 5 miles.
